Your draft

The role you pick, the names you type and every line of your speech stay inside your own browser. The builder saves them in your browser's storage so the draft is still there if you come back. They are never uploaded. Clear this site's data in your browser to delete them.

Anonymous visit counts

To see which parts of the page are useful, the site notes a handful of facts about a visit: that the page opened, the page you came from, how far you scrolled and which practice link you tapped. Along with these it sends your browser language, your operating system, your screen and window size, your time zone and a random visitor number kept in your browser. Your IP address is used to estimate a rough location and is not kept in full. We never ask for a name or email address.

Who receives the counts

These notes pass through this site's own server to an analytics provider that stores them in the European Union. They are used only to improve this page and are not sold or shared with advertisers.

No cookies

The site sets no cookies. Browser storage holds the random visitor number, a short session marker, your speech draft, your light or dark preference and, if you hide it, a note to keep the bottom bar closed. Blocking the counting script does not stop any feature from working.

The practice links

Every practice link points to /run-through on this site. That address looks only at your browser's user agent: Android phones go to the Confidently listing on Google Play, with the link's place on the page passed along as a referrer, and every other device goes to the App Store. The redirect logs nothing. Once you are in a store, Apple's or Google's terms and the app's own privacy policy apply.

Your choices

Email the address above to ask for the deletion of records linked to your random visitor number. Clearing this site's storage also breaks that link at once, since we never learn who you are.
